You can also download devel versions of MGA View using CVS repository. CVS is a version controlling system and allows you to access the latest versions of programs by downloading only those files, which have been changed since the previous version. For more information about CVS check out its home page.

First, you have to download a whole source code archive using CVS. Being in the directory in which you want to store the source, type in the command line:

        cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.mgaview.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mgaview login

When asked about a password, just press ENTER. Then type:

        cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.mgaview.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mgaview co mgaview

and download your source code.

When you need to update MGA View, enter directory containing its source, and type:

        cvs update -d -P

Warning: Those "brand new" versions downloaded with CVS may be not properly tested and not always stable.
